Stephanie Sauer regularly crosses disciplines, performs text-based work, and is the author of The Accidental Archives of the Royal Chicano Air Force (University of Texas Press, October 2015). Her work has been awarded a Corporation of Yaddo fellowship, a So to Speak Hybrid Book Award, two Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission public arts project grants, been exhibited at the De Young Museum, and selected by Brenda Hillman as a finalist for the Poetry Center of Chicago’s 15th Annual Juried Reading. She earned her MFA in Writing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Currently she works as the Editor-in-Chief of Copilot Press, Co-Founding Editor of A Bolha Editora, and is a Visiting Lecturer at the San Francisco Art Institute.
