Robin Myrick is a writer, visual artist, educator, and instigator currently based in Dallas, Texas. Her work is rooted in conceptual practices and hybrid forms, and often engages the ephemeral or mediated moment, as expressed through television and film, portraiture and the body, and the rhetoric of identity, politics, consumerism, and disaster. She holds an MFA in Writing and Critical Studies from CalArts, and is currently completing her doctorate in Humanities-Aesthetic Studies at UT Dallas. Her writing appears in fine places such as Entropy, [out of nothing], semigloss, and the anthologies Chronometry and You've Probably Read This Before. Her photography and site-specific installation/ performance work has been shown in Texas and Los Angeles, often in cahoots with the art collective In Cooperation With Muscle Nation.
